Deramaxx is effective for a full 24 hours - so you only dose once daily. Deramaxx is a non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drug or NSAID. These types of drugs inhibit the cells production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals made by cells that perform specific functions, such as triggering inflammation. This medication comes as a beefy tablet that dogs love.
Arthritis cannot be cured, but the combination of a healthy lifestyle, weight control, joint care supplements, and the appropriate NSAID can help your dog have the quality of life he deserves.
